You became illustrious by your defense of the True Faith. You abolished all doctrinal error and stood victorious in your fight. By your devotion, you brought wealth and glory to the Church. Therefore you were judged worthy to find Christ God who grants us His great Mercy.
A reminder that Christianity existed before Bible only christian philosophies. Before the printing press. Before widespread literacy of the 20th Century.
